I really like your quote from President Johnson about education being an opportunity. Just this week, in a meeting with my current administrator, she related how when she was a high school administrator, she encouraged freshmen students by telling them that education was the way out...out of poverty, poor home life, etc. I think that this concept can even begin in our early childhood classes by offering the children experiences and showing them there is more to life, and even educating parents. Good quote!
ReplyDeleteI to agree with the quote you offered from President Johnson. Education and learning are keys. They can open many doors of opportunities. I too agree that we as Early Educators can be the foundation, the spark to excite children and engage them in learning.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great quote. Thanks for sharing it!
